Book review “And Then The End Will Come” by Brandon Andress

and-then-the-end-will-comeThis thought provoking book by Brandon Andress, the author of Unearthed, is a worthwhile read for Christians who are serious about the Kingdom of God.

Jesus said “the good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14. So what exactly IS the Good News of the kingdom?

If we do not have any idea what the kingdom is… then how will we ever preach it to the world?

These are the important questions that this book asks as it builds upon the words and parables of Jesus.

We are shown how the Good News is MORE than just the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

The book tackles the greater end time issues: who are we becoming right now and who will we be if and when things become increasing chaotic and out of control? It asks not how we will escape the conflict of this world, but rather: how God will work through each of us in the middle of the conflict for His glory and His Kingdom purposes?

I was engaged all the way through the book and it made me think. It is a worthwhile read. If you want fresh insights into the Kingdom of God I recommend it.
