The year of light?

S.B. Sunrise

Sunrise from the beach at the end of my street.

I go for an early morning walk during the week, along the beach at the end of my street.  It’s getting dark now, but the sunrises are so beautiful.  Did you know that NZ is the first country in the world to get the sunrise?  Here’s a photo from last month at dawn.

While walking I told the Lord I wanted to blog something about Him before Easter, and I asked what He wanted.  I felt He wanted me to blog about Him being “the Light of the World.”  I stopped at the end of the path and stretched out my arms to the sunrise, agreeing that He was indeed the light of the world.

I prayed the word from Isaiah 50:4; “Sovereign LORD, give me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. Waken me morning by morning, waken my ear to listen like one being taught.”

Have you heard that ‘listen’ and ‘silent’ have the same letters?  I listened in the silence.  It was in this beautiful spot that I got something jarring.  The thought came to check out what was happening with the Hadron Collider!  It was a strange thought.  I am not interested in physics, except for the stuff I had to learn for my industry qualifications in Information Technology.  I know they found “the God particle”, but so what?  I already know that all things hold together because of Jesus;

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.  Colossians 1:17.

The apostle Paul explained to the pagans at Athens that “in him we live and move and have our being”;

 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands.  And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.  From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.  God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.  ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’  As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.””

Anyway, after doing some research on Cern, I found I’d dismissed the discovery of the God particle too lightly …

1-Hadron-Collider-StargateCERN – blinded by the light.

They’ve just reopened the Hadron Collider after two years.  It’s going to restart today, 22 March 2015 – despite warnings from top scientists such as Stephen Hawking and Neil de Grasse Tyson.

The arrogance of the physicists is breathtaking.  This level of science is the definition of atheism – for some of the physicists like the inventor of the Higgs Boson.  For others, this is where the New Age meets Physics.  Cern is a constituent of Cernunnos—the Celtic horned god of the underworld.  They have a statue of Shiva the destroyer outside the Hadron Collider.  The name for the destroyer in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek it is Apollyon.  See Revelation 9, the fifth trumpet – where a fallen star is given the key to the shaft of the Abyss and demonic beings belonging to the destroyer come out.

Cern is located near the French village of Saint-Genis-Pouilly.  In Roman times it was called Apolliacum.  The town and temple were dedicated to Apollyon.

What a rabbit hole.   If you want to read more, there are many fine blogs that have done the job that the news media hasn’t.  Here’s one with a few YouTube links: https://patinthehat00.wordpress.com/tag/cern/

I don’t want to focus on the devil – and I’m not saying this is the fifth trumpet.  The Tribulation hasn’t started yet, but something’s up.  This may be the technology that the destroyer uses.  If I do have to mention the destroyer, I want it to be in relation to Jesus stamping his authority all over him.  But we need to pay attention, because what they discover at Cern will have as much of an impact as the World Wide Web, which was also created at Cern.

I have found out that the UN have declared this year “the Year of Light”.  So it’s a good time to be blogging about Jesus, who called himself “The Light of the World.”  He will be the subject of my next blog post.

  1. Reblogged this on Richard's Watch and commented:
    Loved this about Jesus, Light of the World, after having covered necessary dismal stuff. Planned to re-blog after Passover-Easter and that darkness giving way to light. So we’ve since awoken daily to birdsong and glorious sunlight. Thank you Jesus – and Jo…

    • Hi Richard, thanks so much for your comment and reblog. I really appreciate it. I’m going to blog more about Jesus as The Light Of The World as soon as I’ve got the time to write. I’m glad you are enjoying the Spring and the sunshine. It is a good way to wake up 🙂
      God bless, Jo

  2. Very interesting observations. I never gave any of this much thought because there’s so much going on in other areas, but I suppose it’s part of the enemy’s plan. He runs a three ring circus so we can’t possibly watch everything at once. Thankfully, I just have to keep my eyes on Jesus and trust Him to point me in the right direction.
