I hold to the Apostles Creed. This is my profession of faith;
I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell:
On the third day he rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead:
I believe in the Holy Spirit:
I believe in the worldwide Church, the Body of Christ of whom Christ is the head: the communion of believers in Christ:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting. Amen.
I am a left brain person who likes logic and fact, but I’m also a bit of a dreamer. My belief in Christ is not blind, but rational, based on observation, experience, history and fact. For what belief cannot prove, I have faith.
I worship at the Mahurangi Presbyterian Church. I believe in local churches where the pastor knows everyone. I hate the prosperity gospel.
My gift is discernment and the interpretation of signs. I like to weave signs together with Bible verses. For instance, signs in the heavens. Which is important given the times we’re living in.
I have an interest in constellations and the Mazzaroth, mentioned in Job 38:32, the oldest book in the Bible. Before God created the Sun and Moon, he created the firmament, saying “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, Genesis 1:14.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.” Psalm 19:2.
