Welcome.

I’m the author of The Kingdom, Here Be Dragons, Here Be Dreams and The End, the Wayfarer’s Guide to the Apocalypse.

Inspired by Pilgrim’s Progress, I write about faith in terms of a journey.

Here is my latest book project, it’s a work in progress:

Wisdom’s House is a sequel to The End, the Wayfarer’s Guide to the Apocalypse. I’m not sure if I’m going to settle on Wisdom’s House as a title but that’s what it’s called for now.
These blog posts contain contain some unique insights from work research and my journey through the omniscient Book or Revelation.

The Kingdom, Here Be Dragons, Here Be Dreams

My first book, “The Kingdom, Here Be Dragons, Here Be Dreams,” is a tale about good versus evil, in a spiritual quest spanning four generations. The story is set in the Kingdom of God, and in beautiful, remote New Zealand – God’s own country.

God wants to reveal Himself and speak to ordinary people.  I wrote this inspirational tale about a journey along the narrow path to keep a record of conversations with the Lord using his Word and how His promises worked out in real life.  If you enjoy redemptive stories this book is for you.

Here are the reviews and here’s the synopsis.

My second book, “The End, the Wayfarer’s Guide to the Apocalypse,” will take you through the Book of Revelation on a questioning journey inside a study, where you will witness the Kingdom, the power and the glory.

The End, the Wayfarer’s Guide to the Apocalypse:

Wayfarer, red moon and shadow

In a world of doom, gloom and apocalyptic warnings, there were two narratives about the end being near. The first saturated the news media and spoke death. Uttering shrill warnings of climate change it offered a curse; “To save the planet, you must give up your lifestyle.”

The other, from the final book of the Bible spoke of strange and frightening things to come, but a blessing was promised; “Blessed are you who read, hear and keep the words of this prophecy; for the time is near.”

Wayfarer wanted the truth. Travelling life’s highways and by-ways, she came to realise a detour must be taken. Which narrative could she trust? Which road should she choose?

The road with the curse, or the road with the blessing?

She made the decision to venture into the mysterious Book of Revelation, a book she’d been wary of since the age of 13.

To find her way, and fulfil the conditions of the blessing, she sought Wisdom. The rooms in Wisdom’s house contained precious and pleasant riches. At first, many doors were closed but Abba, the father of the house, gave her a key. Taught by Wisdom and Abba, Wayfarer learned to “let the Word interpret the Word, line by line, precept by precept.”

There were lots of Bible verses. Aided by those in Wisdom’s house, Wayfarer put them together like a puzzle. She obtained wise counsel, to understand a proverb and an enigma from the words of the wise and their riddles.

As she travelled through the cataclysmic, world changing events of the Apocalypse, Wayfarer’s eyes were opened to great and marvellous things. Witnessing the Kingdom, the power and the glory, she was indeed blessed by this mysterious, enigmatic book that has kept its secrets for over two millennia.

    • Thanks, I’m glad you liked the video. Yes we are living in interesting times, I feel the spiritual fruit is getting squeezed! I look forward to seeing the days when the Kingdom is advanced instead of being in retreat. God bless, Jo
