About

Hi.  I live in New Zealand.  Wanganui is my town and my river and Ruapehu is my mountain.  I moved back to the region after 17 years in the Auckland region.  I live in a quiet street on a hill above the river and share my house with my husband, son and two spoiled cats.

I serve God as a writer.

I am a member of Goodreads and am always seeking readers and reviewers for my books.

My current project is “Wisdom’s House” where I’m writing about my insights while meditating on the Word of God.  It’s designed to work in with my book “The Wayfarer’s Guide to the Apocalypse.”

Here’s my Statement of Faith.

Thanks for stopping by, and please feel free to contact me.

  1. The book is absolutely brilliant! I have been reading all afternoon!
I have made a few editorial observations and would like to write you about them, can you email me?

  2. I reemember the very early stages of your book and the start of this wonderful new path you now walk on. Strange only days ago I was thinking about the “journal” you were writing then and wondered what happened to it. E

    • Its still going! I thought its time I shared it with other people. You’re one of the people the Lord promised me I’d meet on the road in “Signs”, and you’re in Chapter 3 “The Breastplate of Righteousness.” More to come. Love Jo.

  4. Hello Jo, am quickly scanning your blog and a couple of tags as I got ‘nudged’ here from a comment of yours elsewhere. The King has certainly inspired you to write very well and with deep insights. May He bless you even more mightily.
Couple of weeks ago I attended a gathering with your fellow kiwi Ian Clayton – do you know of his ministry Son of Thunder?

    • Hi Richard,
Thank you so, so much for your encouragement.
I really appreciate you visiting my blog. It’s been a labour of love for two years. I only get time to write on the weekends.

I haven’t heard of Ian Clayton. I had a very quick scan of his website, and see a link to Manifest Sons, who are into Dominion or Kingdom Now theology – where God’s apostles and prophets will take control of the kingdoms of this world. It’s made major inroads into some churches, including the one we were at. I don’t subscribe to that stuff.
The Kingdom on Earth will only happen when Jesus comes back, under His rule. Right now His Kingdom is not of this world and we are behind enemy lines.
I don’t see revival, I see we have entered into the period of judgement – the shaking. The second Christchurch earthquake here in NZ that toppled the Cathedral was a sign it had begun. It was a sign of judgement beginning with God’s household (1 Peter 4:17), and it was to wake the Church up.
I probably sound like a wet blanket, but I’m just a sober, alert Christian.
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. 1 Peter 4:7.

I’ve been to your blog and have read a few of your posts. It’s great to meet you the blogosphere 🙂
      God bless,
      Jo

  5. Love your story. God has done the same for me as He lead me out of an abusive marriage and into a relationship with Him. He also told me to write a book and led me in the process of writing and even starting a ministry. We serve an awesome God. He is just searching for those who will walk in faith and obedience as we follow Him. God bless you!!

  6. Hello. I’m going to read your book soon and just wanted to say that I read the beginning of it and you have a really good diction and style. I’m looking forward to it. After a few weeks I’ll try to leave a review (I’m very busy these days 😢 ) on Amazon.
